Quang Ninh maintained strong budget revenue growth during the first half of 2026
According to the Quang Ninh Department of Finance, total state budget revenue over the six-month period is estimated at more than VND 47.5 trillion, representing 64% of the annual target and 58% higher than the same period last year. Domestic revenue exceeded VND 38 trillion, driven primarily by land-use fees and production and business activities. Import-export revenue reached approximately VND 9.35 trillion. Alongside revenue growth, budget expenditure has been tightly managed, with priority given to development investment and social welfare. Total local budget expenditure is estimated at more than VND 20.5 trillion. Quang Ninh province has also accelerated the disbursement of public investment capital, focusing on key infrastructure projects, transport connectivity, and strategic development projects that will provide a solid foundation for economic growth in the remaining months.
