On July 13, Quang Ninh’s Chairman Bui Van Khang chaired a mid-year review meeting of the Provincial Steering Committee for Science and Technology Development, Innovation, Digital Transformation and Project 06 to assess the first-half performance and outline key tasks for the third quarter of 2026.
At the meeting, Quang Ninh’s Chairman Bui Van Khang who also heads the steering committee stressed that heads of provincial departments, agencies and localities must personally elevate their mindset and take fullresponsibility for translating the province's directives into concrete actions. He emphasised that digital transformation and innovation must yield tangible results and serve as direct drivers for Quang Ninh's socio-economic development. For the third quarter of 2026, the Chairman demanded that all departments, agencies and localities to shift from awareness to concrete action backed by measurable targets. Priority will be given to Specifically, they must prioritize resources to permanently resolve bottlenecks in land database, accelerating the disbursement of information technology funding, and proactively finalize shared data models with the ultimate goal of making Quang Ninh a national pioneer and model province for digital data in line with the Central Government's directives.
