On June 21, Quang Ninh Province, in coordination with the Embassy of India in Vietnam, will organize the 12th International Day of Yoga 2026 at October 30 Square in Ha Long Ward.
The event is expected to attract more than 3,000 participants from yoga federations, associations and clubs across the country. Activities will include a traditional Indian lamp-lighting ceremony, a mass yoga session following the Common Yoga Protocol, and Vietnamese–Indian cultural performances. Following the main programme, participants will take part in a beach clean-up activity to promote environmental protection and green living. The event is expected to further strengthen cultural exchanges between Vietnam and India while reaffirming Quang Ninh’s capacity to host large-scale cultural and sporting events. It also supports efforts to make the International Day of Yoga an annual event in the province.
