According to the Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board, Ha Long Bay welcomed more than 1.42 million tourist arrivals in the first five months of 2026, earning VND420 billion in revenue.
International arrivals continued to account for the majority of arrivals, with more than 1.17 million arrivals, representing over 80 per cent of the total. Key international markets included China, India, South Korea and Europe. As the summer tourism season begins, the Ha Long Bay – Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board has proactively prepared infrastructure, human resources and improved tourism business environment to attract more high-value visitor segments, contributing to the achievement of the province’s growth targets for the year.
