According to the Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board, Ha Long Bay welcomed more than 1.42 million tourist arrivals in the first five months of 2026, earning VND420 billion in revenue.
During the three-day Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day holiday (April 25–27), Quang Ninh welcomed around 434,000 tourist arrivals, including 400,700 domestic arrivals and more than 33,300 international arrivals. Total tourism revenue was estimated at VND 1.345 trillion.
According to the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the province welcomed approximately 1,128,000 tourist arrivals during the eight-day Lunar New Year holiday (February 14–21), representing a 16% year-on- year increase. Of the total, international tourist arrivals were estimated at 248,000. Total tourism revenue was estimated at nearly VND3.2 trillion.
Quang Ninh welcomed an estimated 657,000 visitors over the five-day New Year holiday, from December 31, 2025 to January 4, 2026, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Attractions across the province welcomed over 16.7 million tourist arrivals including over 3 million international ones, representing an increase of 20% over the same period last year.
According to Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, the province’s tourism recorded an impressive 15.6 million visitors, including nearly 2.6 million international visitors in the first nine months of 2024, an increase 20 per cent over the same period last year.
The world heritage Ha Long Bay has greeted over 40,000 tourists visited Ha Long Bay since September 10. Notably, 90% of the visitors were international tourists.
Thanks to efforts by the local authorities and residents during a 7-day campaign to address the aftermaths of the typhoon, Ha Long Bay has recently welcomed more than 6,000 visitors, including many foreign tourist groups.
Hi!Summer Festival kickstarting a new tourist season at Ha Long Marina Residential Area, Bai Chay ward attracted the participation of more than 12,000 tourist arrivals.

In the first quarter of this year, about 4.85 million holidaymakers including 283,000 foreigners chose Quang Ninh as their tourist destination, according to the provincial Department of Tourism.
