During the three-day Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day holiday (April 25–27), Quang Ninh welcomed around 434,000 tourist arrivals, including 400,700 domestic arrivals and more than 33,300 international arrivals. Total tourism revenue was estimated at VND 1.345 trillion.
Major tourist attractions across the province recorded strong visitor numbers. Ha Long Bay welcomed around 42,200 arrivals; Sun World Ha Long received 28,000 arrivals; Quang Ninh Museum attracted 14,500 arrivals; the Yen Tu Complex of Historical Monuments and Scenic Landscapes welcomed 14,500 arrivals; the Tran Dynasty Historical Site received around 4,700 arrivals; and the Bach Dang Historical Site welcomed more than 7,300 arrivals.
Many localities also reported significant increases in visitor numbers, including Cai Chien Commune with around 2,700 arrivals; Co To Special Zone with 11,800; Van Don Special Zone with 62,000; Mong Cai Ward 1 with 33,500; and Uong Bi Ward with 58,400.
Quang Ninh is forcasted to continue attracting large numbers of visitors during the upcoming Reunification Day–May Day (April 30–May 1) holiday and throughout the 2026 summer peak season.
