According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Quang Ninh welcomed around 255,000 tourist arrivals during the first two days of the National Day holiday on September 2, August 29 and 30. Total tourism revenue was estimated at VND 750 billion.
On August 30 alone, the second day of the National Day holiday, Quang Ninh welcomed around 155,000 tourist arrivals, up 15% from the same period in 2025.
Many tourist attractions continued to record high visitor numbers. Ha Long Bay welcomed around 8,000 tourist arrivals, including approximately 4,300 international tourist arrivals; Sun World Ha Long Park around 6,000; and Quang Ninh Museum around 5,100.
In the western area, the Yen Tu Complex of Monuments and Landscapes welcomed around 1,600 tourist arrivals; the Bach Dang Special National Historical Relic Site around 1,400; the Tran Dynasty Relic Complex around 1,600; while Cai Bau Pagoda recorded the highest number, with around 17,000 tourist arrivals.
To effectively meet the travel, sightseeing and leisure needs of residents and tourists, sectors, localities, units and businesses across the province proactively made preparations well in advance, ensuring conditions in terms of facilities, services, security and public order, traffic safety, environmental sanitation and service quality.
