In recent years, large-scale cultural and artistic programmes, particularly concerts featuring prominent artists, have become a growing trend, attracting wide public interest. In many localities, concert tickets are often sold at high prices yet still sell out quickly, reflecting the strong public appeal of such events. In Quang Ninh, however, both residents and visitors alike are able to enjoy large-scale, spectacular, professionally organized concerts entirelyfree of charge. This approach demonstrates the province’s consistent attention to cultural development and spiritual life of the people, while also contributing to tourism promotion.
Ha Long Concert 2025 stands out as one of the most spectacular large-scale music events hosted by Quang Ninh.
In the final months of 2025, Quang Ninh hosted three major music events including Ha Long Concert 2025 - Heritage Spirit - Shining Future; Quang Ninh Concert – The Heroic Mining Land; and Quang Ninh Countdown Concert Welcoming 2026 - Discipline and Solidarity, Shaping the Future.
Some 50,000 spectators immersed themselves in musical atmosphere at the “Quang Ninh Countdown Concert to Welcome New Year 2026.”
The programmes brought together many artists widely admired by the public, creating vibrant and modern artistic spaces, and fostering pride in the province’s rich mining and revolutionary traditions.
Beyond year-end celebrations, Quang Ninh will continue to organise a large-scale music festival for approximately around 50,000 spectators on 25 January 2026 at October 30 Square. The event will commemorate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and celebrate the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party. Held under the theme “Proudly Following the Glorious Party – Quang Ninh soaring to new height”, the programme will feature leading artists, and will be broadcast live on central and local television channels and include a high-altitude fireworks display, promising a memorable cultural and tourism highlight.
A distinctive feature of the concerts organised in Quang Ninh is that, despite their large scale and attendance reaching tens of thousands of spectators, all tickets are distributedfree of charge. This reflects the province’s inclusive and people-centred development approach, ensuring that local people directly benefit from socio-economic achievements and that development goes hand in hand with improvements in quality of life and public well-being.
Building on these achievements, Quang Ninh is gradually affirming the role of large-scale cultural and artistic events as distinctive tourism products. These initiatives contribute to enriching community cultural life, while promotingthe image of Quang Ninh as a dynamic, friendly and attractive destination for both domestic and international visitors.
