Signing the coordination regulation on the heritage management and protection

To enhance the effectiveness of conservation and ensure the sustainable development of Viet Nam’s first inter-provincial heritage site, on April 21, the Ha Long Bay – Yen Tu World Heritage Site Management Board, in coordination with relevant departments, agencies and local authorities along Ha Long Bay, signed a coordination regulation on the management, protection and promotion of the Ha Long Bay – Cat Ba Archipelago World Natural Heritage.

The regulation established a unified coordination mechanism among stakeholders, focusing on key tasks such as protecting landscapes, ecosystems and biodiversity; managing tourism and inland waterway transport; strengthening environmental monitoring; and handling violations. It also promote communication efforts, the application of science and technology, and raising community awareness in heritage protection.
