In line with the directions of the Party Central Committee and the provincial authorities, the Quang Ninh Economic Zone Authority has stepped up administrative reform to facilitate business operations in industrial parks and economic zones, attract investment resources, and enhance competitiveness.
Recognising administrative reform as one of its key priorities, and in line with the Government's policy of deconcentration and decentralization, the Authority has directly authorised department heads to process and approve administrative procedures, with the aim of shortening processing times as much as possible. It has also established a centralised administrative service centre at the Bac Luan II Bridge – Mong Cai International Border Gate. In the coming period, the Authority will continue promoting online public services and guiding businesses through electronic administrative procedures. It also aims to maintain a reduction of at least 50% in the time required to process administrative procedures. These efforts are expected to further improve the investment environment, helping the province achieve its 2026 target of attracting US$1.7 billion in FDI and an economic growth rate of over 13%.
