The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Cao Tuong Huy, has signed a decision on the establishment of Van Don Industrial Cluster at Doan Ket commune in Van Don district.
With a total area of approximately 53 hectares, the industrial cluster is designed to include 4 areas.
The project to build the technical infrastructure will be carried out by a Cam Pha-based company named Phu Thinh Van Don Joint Stock Company.
As planned, this enterprise is responsible for investing over VND 486 billion in constructing the system of modern technical infrastructure inside the cluster. The investor will focus on the construction of technical infrastructure during the period from 3rd quarter of 2022 to 4th quarter of 2023, and call for investment from secondary investors in 1st quarter of 2024.
The operation of Van Don industrial cluster is scheduled to be legally valid within 50 years since the date it is established.
Fields of production allowed in Van Don industrial cluster contain beverage, garment, shoes, leather and related products, wood processing, industrial gas, machinery and equipment, pharmaceutical chemicals and medicinal materials, metal processing, and a various types of manufacturing and processing industries.
This cluster will also serve the relocation of handicraft establishments that cause environmental pollution or those unsuitable for new urban planning according to the province’s Resolution No. 201/2019/NQ dated July 30, 2019.
