The 14th National Party Congress is scheduled to officially open on January 19, 2026. Looking toward the Congress with strong confidence and high expectations, officials, Party members, armed forces and people across Quang Ninh province have expressed their firm trust in the Party’s leadership, while placing great hopes on strategic decisions that will guide the country toward rapid and sustainable development in the coming period.
These days, from residential areas and factories to construction sites, islands and border regions, a shared sense of optimism and confidence is evident among officials, Party members and the public. The Congress is widely regarded as a major milestone that will shape Viet Nam’s development path in a new era.
Nguyen Van Cham, Party cell secretary and head of Tan Lap 2 residential area in Quang Hanh Ward, said he hopes the Congress will continue to establish forth sound policies on building a clean, strong Party and enhancing the leadership capacity and the combat strength of grassroots Party organisations, so that the Party remains a solid and reliable pillar for the people.
As a leading province in administrative reform, growth model transformation and modern governance, Quang Ninh is paying particular attention to the 14th Congress’s major orientations on fast and sustainable economic development, innovation, digital transformation, the green economy and the marine economy.
Pham Van The, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Business Association, said the local business community expects the Congress to adopt strong policy directions to improve the investment climate, supporting the private sector and develop strategic infrastructure, thereby enabling enterprises to confidently expand production and contribute to national growth.
With its strategic position in the marine economy, border affairs and international integration, the people of Quang Ninh people also hope the Congress will deliver breakthrough decisions on developing the marine economy, ensuring national defence and security, safeguarding sovereignty, and creating sustainable livelihoods for fishermen and border communities.
Lieutenant Colonel Vu Van Luong, Head of Tran Island Border Guard Station, expressed his belief that the Congress will continue to prioritise the protection of maritime sovereignty in conjunction with marine economic development, creating favourable conditions for border guards and fishermen to stay at sea, safeguard the seas and build a peaceful, stable and developing border region.
Beyond words, officials, Party members and people across Quang Ninh are demonstrating their commitment to the 14th Congress through vibrant emulation movements in all fields, including economic development, the building of and civilised urban areas,advanced new rural development, administrative reform, digital transformation, environmental protection and the maintenance of public order. This spirit of emulation reflects the shared sense of responsibility among organisations and individuals in contributing to the overall success of the Congress.
