The combat against smuggling and trade fraud has been drastically implemented by the province’s market managing force.
The Provincial Department of Market Management has actively undertaken a series of market controlling measures. We have paid much attention to reconnaissance activities and firmly grasp market situations and trends. Also, we have worked closely with functional forces in the area to exchange information, carry out regular patrols, detect violations and encourage organizations and individuals to conform to relevant laws, said Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung, Director of the Provincial Department of Market Management.
In the context of Covid-19 pandemic, the force has adopted appropriate and drastic methods to stabilize the market, especially for all kinds of medical and pharmaceutical products and products.
Thanks to such effective solutions, from January 1 to May 31, the province's market managing force prevented, arrested and handled 355 cases with a total amount of VND 11.4 billion, representing 70.1% of this year’s plan. Of which, the amount of administrative penalty was VND 3.65 billion and the value of confiscated goods was VND 1.87 billion VND.
