As the summer tourism season begins, Quang Ninh continues to see positive growth in the MICE tourism segment, which combines meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions. The continued arrivals of large domestic and international groups has further affirmed Quang Ninh’s appeal while contributing to the growth tourism sector.
In the first five months of 2026, Saigontourist brought more than 30 MICE groups, with around 6,000 - 7,000 visitors to Quang Ninh. The province is expected to continue welcoming many large-scale MICE groups throughout the summer. In addition to the domestic MICE segment, Quang Ninh has also welcomed numerous international groups attending events, conferences and seminars combined with extended leisure stays. A synchronised tourism infrastructure system, thousands of high-quality accommodation rooms, major conference venues and a diverse ecosystem of marine tourism, resort and entertainment services have helped position Quang Ninh as a preferred destination for MICE travellers, contributing to its goal of becoming a leading events hub in Viet Nam and the region.
