According to the 2026 summer tourism search trends report released by search engine Coc Coc, Ha Long Bay was the most searched domestic destination between May 1 and July 20.
Notably, Quan Lan Island also ranked among the 10 most searched destinations, highlighting the sustained appeal of Quang Ninh’s sea and island tourism during the summer season. Alongside destinations, many of Quang Ninh’s tourism products and services also recorded strong growth in search interest. Searches for luxury cruises, overnight stays on the bay, amusement parks in Bai Chay and traditional three-panel red-sailed boats experiences also increased significantly. The search trend reflects growing interest among tourists in high-quality, immersive and personalised tourism experiences in Quang Ninh.
