The Quang Ninh Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Quang Ninh CDC) on August 31 launched a mobile vaccination truck to administer the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine to frontline forces against the Covid-19 pandemic and other groups of people according to the Government’s Resolution No. 21.
The specialized vaccination truck is sponsored by Truong Hai Auto Corporation (THACO), one of the leading car manufacturers in Vietnam. The vehicle is fully equipped with first aid equipment such as oxygen tanks, anti-shock drugs, blood pressure medicines, etc. It also meets specific requirements of safe and efficient vaccination services.
Over 100 people in the priority groups for vaccination are vaccinated against Covid-19 on the mobile vaccination truck yesterday.
Quang Ninh has so far undertaken 9 vaccinating phases with a total of 298,315 injections including 174,890 first doses and 123,425 second ones. These vaccination programs have been carried out safely and on schedule.
Due to the complicated and unpredictable developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, Quang Ninh province is accelerating the progress of Covid-19 vaccination with a goal of reaching herd immunity as soon as possible. The launching of the mobile vaccination truck at this time is of great significance in the fight against this serious diease.
