On August 7, the Quang Ninh Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee launched a special emulation campaign to achieve accomplishments in celebration of Quang Ninh becoming a centrally governed city.
The campaign will run from now until the end of December 2026, focusing on three key areas: strengthening communication to spread pride and aspirations to build a prosperous, civilised, modern and happy Quang Ninh city; requiring each organisation, unit and locality to register and implement at least one practical project, task or model with a specific outcome to be completed in 2026; and organising cultural, artistic, physical training and sports activities to promote Quang Ninh’s image and identity, with a focus on the Residential Area Singing Festival and the “Quang Ninh – A New Stature” short-video contest.
