The Ministry of Health confirmed 80 new COVID-19 cases, including 78 local infections on Monday morning, raising the national patient tally to 3,412.
The community infection cases were recorded in Bac Ninh (27), Vinh Phuc (19), Da Nang (13), Bac Giang (five), Ha Noi (nine), Hoa Binh (two), Dak Lak (one), Dien Bien (one), and Lang Son (one).
Meanwhile, the imported cases included a 33-year-old Indian man who flew from Qatar to Viet Nam on April 24. The other is a 30-year-old man brought home from France on May 7.
