The first jab of Covid-19 vaccine was administered to thousands of traders selling products at the city’s central market, Ha Long I on July 31.
Located at Tran Hung Dao Primary School, the mobile vaccination site comprised 12 injection tables and mobilizes 70 health workers and volunteers.
The shots were made for 1,800 traders at Ha Long Market I on July 31 in line with the Ministry of Health’s instructions and regulations.
Ha Long authorities said that 6,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine would be given to those in high-risk occupations such as market traders, taxi drivers, motorbike taxi drivers and porters.
Previously, the city accomplished injecting 7,293 doses of vaccines to priority people including frontline forces and workers in industrial zones.
