The Provincial People's Committee has just held a conference to announce the application of the ISO 9001:2015 electronic software system following the Vietnamese standard ISO 9001:2015 to the operations of state administrative agencies in the province.
Quang Ninh has so far become first in North to apply electronic ISO-standard governance system. This system has been applied in the operations of 227 local public administrative agencies
This move contributes to expressing the province's constant efforts to implement the digital transformation program and develop digital government.
In 2019, all local departments transformed their quality management system from the previous national standard TCVN ISO 9001:2008 to the paper version of TCVN ISO 9001:2015. However, the manual form of management and application of the paper version had several disadvantages. Therefore, in 2021, the Provincial People’s Committee approved an outline and detailed estimate of IT application activities using an electronic ISO software system, according to TCVN ISO 9001:2015, which was referred to as the electronic ISO.
Actual implementation shows that it is easy and convenient to update any possible changes through the electronic ISO system.
The new application ensures the provision of services for involved agencies’ general management and electronic document exchange. As a result, workflows are automated, unified, standardized, and independent of participants’ subjective will.
In particular, local people can participate in quality control and work outcomes.
