Visitors now can choose from 12 curated tourism products and services on Ha Long Bay. Four signature experiences are organized directly by the Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board: panoramic sightseeing that showcases the bay’s exceptional geological and geomorphological values; immersive encounters with traditional fishing-village culture; visits to historical relics and archaeological sites; and leisure time at the iconic Titop Island, famed for its beach and sweeping viewpoints. Complementing these are eight high-quality services delivered by tourism enterprises, expanding choice and elevating the visitor experience.

Sightseeing remains the cornerstone of Ha Long Bay tourism, with eight thoughtfully designed routes in operation. More than 500 licensed cruise vessels, owned by nearly 260 businesses and cooperatives, serve these itineraries, with continuous upgrades to meet international standards of safety, comfort, and service excellence. Looking ahead, Quang Ninh is developing specialized offerings such as eco-discovery routes, community-based cultural experiences, and premium overnight cruises designed to extend stays and enrich visitor engagement.

Beyond classic sightseeing, the destination continues to refresh its most distinctive experiences. Highlights include authentic interactions with bay-side fishing communities, exploration of renowned cultural and archaeological landmarks such as Dau Go Cave, Ba Men Temple, and Me Cung Cave, visits to the bay’s only on-site archaeological exhibition at Tien Ong Cave, and upgraded beach experiences at Titop Island, where natural beauty meets well-planned infrastructure.

Enterprise-led services are also being elevated through tighter management and professionalization. Popular activities, traditional rowing boats, kayaking, and coastal dining cruises, are now delivered with greater consistency, safety, and creativity.

Coastal dining cruises operate along scenic routes connecting Tuan Chau Tourist Port, Ha Long International Passenger Port, and Nam Cau Trang Port. These experiences pair refined Asian and European cuisine with unforgettable views whether enjoying live music under the bay’s twinkling night lights or savoring daytime panoramas along iconic limestone seascapes.

Adding further depth are hands-on experiences such as pearl-farming visits, jewelry crafting tours with on-site shopping, and seafood journeys that combine local markets with live cooking demonstrations, rounding out a rich, multi-layered tourism ecosystem.

In 2025, Quang Ninh welcomed more than 21 million visitors, including approximately 4.5 million international travelers, generating an estimated VND 57 trillion in tourism revenue. These achievements reinforce Ha Long Bay’s standing as a premier destination not only of Vietnam, but of the wider region where heritage, innovation, and world-class experiences converge.
