Cam Pha stadium is scheduled to host 14 Women Football matches including 12 group stage matches and 2 semi-finals from May 9 to May 15.
Located in the centre of Cam Pha city, this four-grandstand staditum has the capacity of 16,000 seats and boasts the best grass in V-League, the top professional football league in Vietnam.
In preparation for the 31st SEA Games, some 10.5 million USD (VND 240 billion) was allocated to upgrade function facilities at the stadium according to international standards.
Cam Pha stadium has got a new look. The quality of the pitch is carefully prepared and of high qualit; 100% of seats have backrests, ensuring the best conditions not only for the players participating in the competition but also for fans coming here to cheer on the Vietnamese women’s national football team.
Quang Ninh province will open its doors for free for fans to come to Cam Pha Stadium to cheer on the teams attending the 31st SEA Games.
There will be 4 rounds of security checks at Cam Pha Stadium (Quang Ninh) in each game. Police and army forces across the province are being mobilized to ensure congressional security.
The women’s soccer content at SEA Games 31 has 7 participating teams including hosts Vietnam, Philippines, Cambodia (Group A), Myanmar, Singapore, Laos and Thailand (Group B). Cam Pha Stadium (Quang Ninh) hosts women’s football matches from May 9th to 15th.
