Ba Men Temple Festival 2026

The Ba Men Temple Festival 2026 took place on March 7 and 8 (the 19th and 20th days of the first lunar month, the Year of the Horse), on Dau Be Island in Ha Long Bay, attracting a large number of fishermen and visitors.

The ceremonial rituals were held in a solemn atmosphere, with offerings and incense presented to pray for calm seas and favorable weather in the year ahead. The festival also offers an opportunity for fishermen to express gratitude for the protection and blessings believed to have been bestowed by Ba Men over the past year.

Festive activities featured traditional boat races, helping strengthen community ties among fishermen from the coastal areas of Ha Long, Cat Ba and Quang Yen.

The event was held in a safe and orderly manner while contributing to the preservation and study of traditional cultural values. It further highlights the rich cultural diversity of Ha Long Bay, where magnificent natural landscapes coexist with the distinctive spiritual life of local fishing communities.
