Taking place from the 10th day of the first lunar month and lasting throughout the first three months of the year, the Yen Tu Spring Festival 2026 is Quang Ninh’s largest early-spring festival. It has become a spiritual venue attracting monks, nuns, Buddhist followers and visitors near and far. To date, preparations have been mostly completed to welcome residents and visitors for pilgrimage and spring outings within the sacred cultural and spiritual space of Yen Tu buddhism land.
Decorative and ceremonial preparations at Truc Lam Yen Tu Palace is being finalised ahead of the festival’s opening on the 10th day of the first lunar month (February 26, 2026).The first Truc Lam Yen Tu Cultural Fair will feature more than 100 booths showcasing handicrafts, OCOP products and a culinary festival presenting specialties from Quang Ninh and other provinces and cities nationwide.
Technical staff are completing the exhibition area dedicated to Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhism, including displays of Tran Dynasty antiques as well as documents, photographs and artefacts related to the Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhist tradition.An AI-powered camera system has been installed to automatically monitor visitors flows in and out of the heritage site.
Traditional cultural performances will be staged at various time slots to serve residents and visitors.
