Training course opens for Luang Prabang officials

On August 17, at Vu Van Hieu School of Politics, the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee opened a training course for leaders and management officials from Luang Prabang province of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee Vu Van Dien emphasised that Quang Ninh and northern Lao provinces, including Luang Prabang, regularly organise delegation exchanges, friendship activities and cooperation in many fields, particularly education and training, human resource development, culture, youth exchanges and people-to-people diplomacy.

The training course provides an opportunity for officials from the two provinces to exchange practical experience in leadership, management and local development, thereby further strengthening bilateral cooperation and contributing to the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. A total of 32 officials from Luang Prabang province are attending the course from August 17 to 28.
