On April 16, in Quang Ninh, the tourism associations of Quang Ninh, Hai Phong and Bac Ninh jointly held a conference on tourism linkage under the theme “One journey - Three heritage destinations.”
At the conference, travel agencies, cruise operators and representatives of the three local tourism associations discussed and agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding on tourism development cooperation for the 2026–2028 period. Under the agreement, the three localities will jointly develop tourism products based on the “One journey – Three heritage destinations” model, with a view to maximising the distinctive tourism potential of each locality. The cooperation will include information sharing, joint promotional events and the development of high-quality tourism products connecting major heritage sites such as Ha Long Bay, Cat Ba Archipelago and the Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son, Kiep Bac Complex of Monuments and Landscapes.
The three tourism associations will also organise joint tourism promotion and stimulus campaigns in 2026, 2027 and 2028, and introduce promotional programmes at both local and inter-regional levels. These programmes will offer increased incentives, gifts and support for tourists visiting two or more destinations within a single itinerary. In addition, the parties will focus on tourism demand stimulation, human resource training and the proposal of flexible management policies to foster tourism development and promote regional economic growth.
