The pristine beauty of Thanh Lan island

Thanh Lan Island belongs to Co To District, not far from Co To Island, only 30 minutes by boat. Come to Thanh Lan Island, you will be surprised by the beautiful wild beach touching your heart.

Thanh Lan Island, with a total area of 27 square kilometers, is the largest island in Co To district. There are about 1,200 local people living mainly by fishing.
It takes you about 1 hour 30 minutes to get to Thanh Lan island on a speed boat from Cai Rong wharf in Van Don district. The ticket price is 300,000 VND per person.
According to Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism, Trinh Dang Thanh, Thanh Lan Island has great potentials for tourism development because it possesses various untouched beautiful beaches.
The largest and most beautiful beach on the island is Ba Chau, about 4 km from the headquarters of Thanh Lan Commune People's Committee. The beach has a 1.5 km- long sandy beach, an ideal place for swimming and camping.
On the right of Ba Chau beach lies a rocky beach with diverse stones of strange shapes.
Hai Quan is the farthest beach located in the village No. 3. Tourists will pass through a 7 km- long coastal road closed to the primeval forest.
On the way to Hai Quan beach, you can visit Vung Tron beach. You will have to walk through a winding trail of nearly 400 meters through the forest to reach this beach.
