Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee has issued Decision No. 1020/QD-UBND on the establishment of Thanh Lam 1 Industrial Cluster in Ky Thuong Commune, marking an important step in implementing Quang Ninh’s industrial cluster development plan for the 2021–2030 period.
Under the decision, Thanh Lam 1 Industrial Cluster covers nearly 75 hectares, of which more than 74.6 hectares are designated for the cluster itself, with the remaining area allocated for connecting technical infrastructure.

The project is scheduled for completion within 34 months from the date of the decision, with a maximum operating term of 50 years from the date of land allocation or lease. The establishment of Thanh Lam 1 Industrial Cluster is of significant importance to the socio-economic development of Ky Thuong Commune. It will help create a concentrated production land fund, facilitate the relocation of small-scale and scattered production facilities into a planned area, and thereby improve state management, environmental protection and construction order. At the same time, it provides a foundation for attracting investment, expanding production and promoting economic restructuring towards industry and services.
