By January 12, 2026, import–export activities through the Bac Phong Sinh Clearance Route (Viet Nam) – Li Huo (China), part of the Hoanh Mo (Viet Nam) – Dongzhong Border Gate (China), had recorded strong positive signals.
According to Bac Phong Sinh Border Gate Customs, total import–export turnover from January 1 to January 12, 2026 exceeded USD 3.3 million, with 98 customs declarations. This represents a 68.71% increase in turnover and an 8.89% rise in the number of declarations compared with the same period in 2025, indicating a clear recovery and robust growth momentum in border trade from the very beginning of the year. For the January 2026 reporting period (from December 15, 2025 to January 12, 2026), total import–export turnover via the Bac Phong Sinh (Viet Nam) – Li Huo (China) clearance route reached nearly USD 8.9 million, up 25.56% compared to the previous month..
The range of goods traded through the border gate has become increasingly diverse, ranging from frozen seafood, agricultural produce and handicrafts to footwear, auto parts and specialized machinery.
