Spectacular fireworks to light up Ha Long Bay on May 1

Ha Long city is set to dazzle visitors and locals alike with a stunning high-altitude fireworks display this May Day holiday.

With official approval from Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the fireworks show will take place at 9:30 PM on May 1, as the grand finale of Ha Long Carnival 2025.

The show will be held along the scenic coastal boulevard near Ocean Park in Bai Chay Ward, promising a 15-minute spectacle of color and light over the iconic bay. This vibrant display is expected to create a memorable highlight for the holiday festivities, drawing crowds from across the region.

More than just a celebration, the fireworks show is part of Ha Long’s ongoing efforts to enrich its cultural offerings and strengthen the identity of Carnival Ha Long as a signature event.
