Silk Path Golf Course inaugurated in Dong Trieu city
The Silk Path Dong Trieu Golf & Country Club, located in An Sinh Commune, Dong Trieu city, officially opened on January 11, 2025.
Prominent among those at the inauguration ceremony was Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party's Committee, Dang Xuan Phuong.
Designed by legendary golfer Sir Nick Faldo, the 27-hole course includes 18 holes that meet world-class tournament standards and nine holes tailored for beginners. Sir Nick Faldo has stated that the course "has the potential to become the best course in Vietnam."
The Silk Path Dong Trieu Golf & Country Club is the fourth golf course in Quang Ninh Province, following Tuan Chau, FLC Ha Long, and Mong Cai. The project, spanning nearly 130 hectares, was developed over three years with an investment exceeding 1,200 billion VND (approximately 50 million USD).
The facility is designed to serve about 800 guests per day and includes a luxurious clubhouse, practice areas, a pro shop, and other amenities.
The opening of this golf course is expected to boost the local economy by attracting tourists and promoting sports tourism in the region. It reflects Quang Ninh province's strategic vision for sustainable development and its commitment to becoming a leading destination for high-end sports and leisure activities.
