On December 3, the Autoliv Vietnam Plant was officially inaugurated at Song Khoai Industrial Park in Hiep Hoa ward.

The Dong Mai Industrial Cluster, located in Dong Mai ward, has officially been inaugurated. The project is one of the landmark works inaugurated to celebrate the 16th Quang Ninh provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

On September 17, the Quang Ninh Economic Zone Authority and CoreMax Group held an inauguration and plaque-unveiling ceremony for Phase 1 of the Vina CoreMax Vietnam Plant at Nam Tien Phong industrial park, Lien Hoa ward.

On September 2, Bai Chay ward, in partnership with Sun Group, inaugurated a new flagpole at Sun Square in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam’s National Day. The ceremony included a solemn flag-raising ritual, with delegates and local residents standing in tribute as the national flag was unfurled.

On August 13, the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with Quang Ninh Province, held the inauguration ceremony for the "People's Public Security for the People" monument at Ha Long Flower Park in Hong Gai ward.

Party General Secretary Tô Lâm and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation attended the launching ceremony of Vietnam Airlines’ Hà Nội – Moscow air route on May 9 (local time) as part of his trip to Russia for an official visit and participation in the celebration marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The Silk Path Dong Trieu Golf & Country Club, located in An Sinh Commune, Dong Trieu city, officially opened on January 11, 2025.

Top leader highly valued the city's consideration of this plaque as a heritage site, and thanked French people, loyal friends of Việt Nam, who have always strived to preserve historical sites that mark President Hồ Chí Minh's journey to find a way to salvage the country.

On Jan. 26, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the inauguration ceremony of Love Bridge and Ha Long-Cam Pha coastal road (first phase) in Quang Ninh province.
