On October 6, at Hai Ha Industrial Park, Wellrain Textile (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. held the inauguration ceremony for its Wellrain greige and dyed fabric manufacturing plant. The project has total investment of VND 381 billion, equivalent to USD 15 million, with a designed capacity of around 42 million sq.m of fabric per year.
The Wellrain greige and dyed fabric manufacturing plant is invested by Wellrain Textile (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. After more than one year of investment and construction, the project has officially been inaugurated and put into operation, with standard factory buildings and auxiliary facilities within Hai Ha Industrial Park, covering an area of around 25,638 sq.m.
The project is designed to produce woven fabrics and finish textile products, with dyed fabric as its main product. Its designed capacity is around 42 million sq.m per year, equivalent to 8,400 tonnes of dyed fabric annually. The project is in line with the city’s orientation to develop processing and manufacturing, the textile and garment industry, and expand production chains within local industrial parks.
The project’s completion and operation contribute to adding new production capacity to Hai Ha Industrial Park, creating more jobs and strengthening linkages among businesses in the textile and garment supply chain. In particular, the project is expected to contribute to the city’s 2026 target of 26.3% growth in processing and manufacturing, with the sector accounting for more than 14% of GRDP.
The project becoming operational just over a year after receiving its investment registration certificate further demonstrates the ability to quickly turn investment capital into actual production capacity, while adding another link to the textile and garment ecosystem at Hai Ha Industrial Park. This also provides a basis for the business to strengthen production linkages, expand markets and pursue long-term development in Quang Ninh.
