In the final months of the year, businesses across Quang Ninh City are stepping up production in response to to the 90-day-and-night emulation incentive to accelerate and make breakthroughs in fulfilling the 2026 socio-economic development targets and tasks through a range of specific measures.
Along with other units of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin), Cua Ong Coal Selection Company entered the fourth quarter by launching a 90-day-and-night peak emulation campaign, striving to process more than 2.6 million tonnes of clean coal and sell more than 2.3 million tonnes. The company is closely following Vinacomin’s directions, proactively coordinating with mines in the Cam Pha area to develop plans for transporting coal from mines and receiving coal supplies, while effectively organising coal blending and preparation, managing storage facilities and coal sales.
Deputy Director of Cua Ong Coal Selection Company Nguyen Quang Hung said that in the first nine months of 2026, the company received 9.45 million tonnes of coal, produced 8.9 million tonnes of clean coal and sold 9.6 million tonnes. The company is continuing to focus on strengthening its capacity for coal screening and selection, processing and sales, while proactively securing coal supplies, improving equipment productivity, controlling product quality and ensuring close coordination across all stages so that coal is effectively sold after production.
At industrial parks across the city, many businesses are also accelerating production to fulfil orders and expand production capacity. By the end of September 2026, Tonly Electronics Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd. had completed all of its production and business targets for the full year, ensuring growth of 25% compared with 2025. These days, the company’s two factories are maintaining stable operations on two continuous shifts with nearly 1,000 workers.
General Director of Tonly Electronics Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd. Feng Qilun said the company would continue maintaining stable operations at its two factories to ensure sufficient product supplies to meet partners’ demand in 2027. It is also accelerating preparations of facilities, machinery imports and workforce recruitment so that its third factory at Dong Mai Industrial Park can be ready to begin operations in the first quarter of 2027.
Not only factories and workshops, but many construction sites across the city are also accelerating work in the final months of the year. The social housing project in Cao Xanh and Ha Lam wards, invested by Tu Liem Urban Development Joint Stock Company, broke ground in late September 2025. The investor is currently mobilising more than 500 workers, together with machinery and equipment, to work continuously in two shifts, while strengthening supervision at all stages to ensure quality, progress and aesthetics.
To date, structural work has been completed through the 13th floor of Building A and the 12th floor of Building B. The investor plans to complete all structural work and top out the project in December 2026, ensuring fulfilment of the social housing development target assigned to the city by the Government.
