Race Crew happy with traditional Wecome Ceremony

Race Crew have been officially welcomed to Ha Long Bay International Cruising Port with a traditional Welcome Ceremony - complete with lion dance, confetti cannons, VIPs and lots of flower gifting.

Skipper of Host Port Yacht Ha Long Bay, Viet Nam Josh Stickland said: "It was overwhelming to see how many official dignitaries attended the event. It was great for each team to get a moment on stage to celebrate. It was quite the show!"

Quang Ninh province held a ceremony to welcome 11 sailing teams and over 400 members on Feb 22.

Yacht crews' families also joined the ceremony.
Leaders of Ha Long city and the Department of Tourism presented flowers to ship crews.
Quang Ninh authorities and yacht crews together took check-in photos.

After docking at Ha Long International Passenger Port on February 18-19, the crew members joined a number of activities in Quang Ninh.
