On January 8, Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Quan Minh Cuong, had a meeting with the Pacific Construction Group (China) to discuss on cooperation orientations in a number of fields.
At the meeting, Quang Ninh Province introduced several key infrastructure investment projects expected to be implemented in the coming period, including the Hai Phong-Ha Long-Mong Cai railway, the urban railway system, Cua Luc Bridge No.2, and an oversea bridge connecting islands in the Van Don Special Zone.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the friendship and cooperation between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Communist Party of China, as well as between the two States are currently at their best stage of development. Together with the construction capacity and financial strength of Chinese enterprises, including Pacific Construction Group will constitute important foundations for the successful implementation of cooperation between the two sides.
He expressed his hope that both sides would soon reach consensus on the most effective cooperation mechanism, ensuring that projects implemented by Pacific Construction Group in Quảng Ninh would be conducted with the shortest construction timeframe, the highest quality, and optimal cost efficiency..
Mr. Yan Jiehe, Founder of Pacific Construction Group, highly appraised of Quang Ninh’s development advantages, affirming that the Group has identified Quang Ninh as a key strategic investment area in the coming period. He also expressed the Group’s commitment to closely coordinating with the province to promote substantive, practical and effective cooperation.
