On April 14, Quang Ninh’s Vice-chairman Le Van Anh hosted a courtesy meeting with a delegation from the Australian Political Exchange Council, led by Acting President of the Legislative Council of Western Australia Sook Yee Lai, during their working visit to the province.
At the meeting, the Vice-chairman warmly welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of Quang Ninh’s socio-economic development, with a focus on the marine economy, tourism, and environmental protection. He expressed his hope that both sides would further promote delegation exchanges and share experience in areas where Australia has strengths, such as resource management, environmental protection, sustainable urban development, and high-quality human resource training.
Acting President of the Parliament of Western Australia Sook Yee Lai thanked Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman for his warm reception and expressed her impression of Quang Ninh’s dynamic development. She also conveyed her wish to strengthen ties between Australian localities and Quang Ninh province through enhanced exchanges and cooperation in areas such as tourism and education.
