On May 14, Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Secretary Quan Minh Cuong had a courtesy meeting with General Director of Wilmar CLV Group (Singapore) Ray Chew during his working visit to Quang Ninh.
At the meeting, Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Secretary Quan Minh Cuong highly appreciated the production and business efficiency of the investors in Quang Ninh, as well as their contributions to local budget over the years, particularly the Cai Lan Vegetable Oil Plant. He also encouraged the Group to continue studying and implementing new investment projects in the province, especially projects processing vegetable oil from Vietnam’s key agricultural products such as peanut oil and rice bran oil. This would help increase the added value of the vegetable oil production sector in Quang Ninh and Vietnam as a whole.
General Director of Wilmar CLV Group Ray Chew expressed his appreciation for Quang Ninh’s support for the Group over the years. He also affirmed that the Group is promoting the implementation of several new projects in the province, with the goal of developing Quang Ninh into the Group’s production hub for vegetable oil and several food products in Asia.
