Hospitals in the province have currently done Covid-19 tests for more than 2,000 residents arriving from other provinces and cities.
Hospitals and other medical facilities allowed to provide testing services include the provincial General Hospital, the hospital of Vinmec Ha Long, Bai Chay hospital, Quang Ninh Obstetrics And Pediatrics Hospital, the provincial Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Cam Pha General Hospital and Uong Bi Vietnam-Sweden Hospital.
These above-mentioned medical facilities have adquately prepared necessary medical equipment and staff so as to perform tests and return results as soon as possible. Some units have sent test results via text message or email.
As reported, more than 2,000 residents arriving from other provinces and cities have been tested for SARS-Cov-2 across the province.
On supervising the testing procedures in the provincial General Hospital, Vice Chairwoman of the People’s Committee, Nguyen Thi Hanh, asked the hospital and other medical facilities to ensure the productivity and efficiency of testing activities. All tests for officials working at state units and organizations are supposed to be accomplished by the evening of May 5, as per the province’s guidelines.
