Quang Ninh OCOP Autumn-Winter Fair 2025 open on October 28

On the evening of October 28, the Quang Ninh OCOP Autumn-Winter Fair 2025 was officially launched at the Quang Ninh Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace.

Running from October 28 to November 3, 2025, the fair features 160 booths showcasing OCOP products, signature specialties from Quang Ninh and other provinces, as well as a series of exhibition areas.

Zone 1 includes 70 standard booths introducing OCOP products, agricultural goods, and typical items from communes, wards, and districts across Quang Ninh Province. Zone 2 features around 90 booths displaying OCOP and agricultural products from other provinces, cities, and domestic economic organizations.

Zone 3 hosts the main stage and LED screens presenting videos that highlight Quang Ninh’s outstanding OCOP products and distinctive local culture. Zone 4 serves as an exhibition space showcasing the province’s socio-economic achievements, beautifully decorated to mark the 62nd anniversary of Quang Ninh’s founding (October 30, 1963 - October 30, 2025).

In his opening remarks, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee and Head of the Provincial OCOP Steering Committee, Nguyen Van Cong, emphasized that in recent years, Quang Ninh has continuously focused on improving product quality and promoting trade activities to help local and national businesses connect, expand markets, and boost sales.

He noted that the OCOP Quang Ninh Autumn-Winter Fair 2025 is a practical initiative to promote OCOP products alongside tourism and service development, helping to strengthen Quang Ninh’s image as a vibrant and dynamic province full of growth potential.

The fair also offers a valuable opportunity for OCOP producers to exchange experiences, learn from one another, and further diversify their products to meet the evolving needs of consumers and visitors.

With the theme “Connection - Integration - Development,” the fair serves as a lively cultural and economic hub, encouraging domestic consumption, expanding international cooperation, and promoting the spirit of “Vietnamese people prioritize Vietnamese goods.”

Speaking at the event, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade), Le Hoang Tai, commended Quang Ninh for its strong economic potential and modern, well-connected transport infrastructure.

He highlighted the province’s growing opportunities in trade and services, especially domestic trade, and noted that the recent growth in industrial production and exports has built a solid foundation for OCOP product development.

He also praised the increasing quality, design, and market competitiveness of Quang Ninh’s OCOP products, particularly those linked with tourism, and expressed confidence that the fair would serve as an important trade promotion platform, connecting Quang Ninh’s producers with broader domestic and international markets.

This year’s fair is held alongside several major events, including the Ha Long Concert 2025, the Quang Ninh Food Festival 2025, and a series of celebrations marking 62 years since the founding of Quang Ninh Province (October 30, 1963 - October 30, 2025) and the Traditional Day of the Mining Region and Coal Industry (November 12, 1936 - November 12, 2025).

Together, these activities create a unique connection between culture, tourism, services, and trade, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere and stimulating year-end consumer demand.
