Quang Ninh Media Group holds talks with Guangxi Radio and Television (China)

On August 5, in Nanning city, a delegation from  Quang Ninh Media Group (Vietnam) held talks with Guangxi Radio and Television (China).

At the talks, leaders of the two sides reviewed ongoing cooperation, including the weekly exchange of news for publication on their online newspapers, cooperation on Radio Channel 2, and joint publication of the Lotus magazine. In particular, the Lotus magazine has been well received by the public and highly praised by the leaders of both localities. It is also one of the press and media cooperation initiatives included in the joint communiqué of the Spring Meeting between Party secretaries of Vietnamese provinces and cities and the Secretary of the Party Committee of China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

This year, the two sides have jointly produced a series of programmes promoting the tourism, cuisine, land and people of Quang Ninh and Guangxi. They also discussed plans to improve the quality of programmes, specialised features and press and media products, with an emphasis on increasing the application of artificial intelligence in production and developing new media products showcasing the culture and tourism of each locality.

As part of the working visit, the delegation will visit and conduct reporting activities at the Liuzhou Industrial Museum, President Ho Chi Minh’s former residence in Liuzhou, and several local specialty production sites.
