On June 19, Quang Ninh’s Chairmn Bui Van Khang received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to Vietnam Karl Van den Bossche during his visit to Quang Ninh ahead of the conclusion of his diplomatic tenure.
Quang Ninh’s Chairman Bui Van Khang highly appreciated the ambassador’s positive contributions to strengthening friendship and cooperation between Belgium and Vietnam in general, and between Quang Ninh and Belgian partners in particular.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to Vietnam Karl Van den Bossche noted that cooperation between Quang Ninh and Belgian partners has continued to deepen, as reflected in the effective implementation of cooperative projects in the province, including the Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park. He also proposed studying the possibility of organising a Belgian Beer Festival in Quang Ninh to further enhance cultural and tourism exchanges between the two sides. The ambassador affirmed that the strong foundations of cooperation already established would continue to be inherited and further developed in a deeper and more practical manner, thereby contributing to stronger ties between Quang Ninh and Belgian partners in the coming time.
