On July 28, Quang Ninh province of Vietnam and Fujian province of China held the second regular conference in Fuzhou city, Fujian province.
Addresing the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Council Nguyen Hong Duong called on the two sides to maintain exchanges of delegations at all levels; strengthen cooperation and exchanges between functional agencies, businesses and people of the two localities; further promote trade and investment cooperation; and create favourable conditions for enterprises from both sides to expand two-way cooperation. He also urgedstronger cooperation in seaports, logistics, tourism and education with particular emphasis on developing the cruise and air travel markets and expanding cooperation between Ha Long University and universities in Fujian province.
Leaders of the two provinces agreed that, with the strong commitment of authorities, agencies and businesses on both sides, cooperation between Quang Ninh and Fujian would continue to deepen, becoming one of the exemplary models of local-level cooperation within the Vietnam - China friendship.
