On July 24, the Quang Ninh Department of Industry and Trade and the Department of Commerce of Fujian province, China, held a working session on promoting economic, trade and investment cooperation in the coming period.
Based on cooperation agreements signed since 2022, the two sides agreed to continue strengthening the exchange of information on the investment environment, business connections, trade promotion and supply chain development. They will also expand cooperation in logistics and seaports, the electronics industry and smart manufacturing; study the resumption of direct flights between Van Don and Fujian and the restoration of the shipping route connecting the two localities; and develop new tourism products. These efforts will promote people-to-people exchanges and expand economic, trade, investment and tourism cooperation in the coming period.
