As part of the Quang Ninh Culture, Sports and Tourism Week – Summer 2026, the Ha Long Carnaval creative parade floats design, and construction competition is taking place in a lively atmosphere, attracting participation from all 54 communes, wards and special zones across the province.
The parade floats have gathered at Hon Gai Beach in Ha Long Ward for final decoration and technical preparations. Each parade floats tells its own story, showcasing the cultural identity, tourism potential and development aspirations of each locality. Outstanding entries will be evaluated and awarded by the organising committee, with selected parade floats to be featured in the opening ceremony night of Ha Long Carnaval 2026. According to the plan, from April 29 to May 1, the floats will parade from October 30 Square along Tran Quoc Nghien and Tran Hung Dao streets in Ha Long Ward, as well as through the main roads of Bai Chay tourism area, creating a vibrant and colourful festive atmosphere.
