Embracing Vietnamese people’s long-lasting solidarity spirit and responding to the call of the Quang Ninh provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, numerous agencies, businesses, organizations, and philanthropists both within and beyond the province have come together to offer meaningful support to flood-affected communities.
According to the provincial Fatherland Front Committee, donations have surpassed VND 5 billion since November 22. In addition, over the past few days, the committee has organized the delivery of more than 200 tonnes of emergency relief goods to Lam Dong Province, one of the localities hardest hit by recent torrential rains and flooding.
The supplies include essential food, basic necessities, and medical items. These heartfelt contributions are helping affected residents stabilize their lives, restart production, and begin rebuilding their communities in the aftermath of the disaster.
