Miss World 2026 contestants explore Ha Long Bay

As part of the Miss World 2026 pageant, on August 16, 111 contestants from countries and territories took a sightseeing and experiential voyage around Ha Long Bay aboard the luxury cruise ship Catherine Horizon. The contestants explored the beauty of the World Natural Heritage Site and helped promote the image of Ha Long Bay to international audiences.

During the journey, the contestants learned about the outstanding values of Ha Long Bay, from its distinctive geological and geomorphological landscapes to its limestone islands, caves and unique seascape.

Contestants enjoy a diverse menu aboard the cruise, prepared to suit the culinary cultures of different countries and territories.

In addition to sightseeing, the contestants enjoyed dishes reflecting local cuisine, relaxed and took in views of the bay, and participated in a number of experiential activities organised aboard the cruise ship.

The experience gave them a more authentic sense of the beauty and appeal of Ha Long Bay, one of Vietnam’s leading tourist destinations and a iconic symbol of the country’s tourism industry.
