On the morning of March 4, the opening ceremony of the Luc Na Communal House Festival 2026 was held in Ban Cau Hamlet, Luc Hon Commune, featuring a range of cultural, artistic and sporting activities.
Luc Na Communal House was built during the Later Le Dynasty. It is dedicated to the village tutelary deity Hoang Can, a heroic general credited with repelling northern invaders and protecting the homeland. The site was recognised as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic by Quang Ninh People’s Committee in 2005.
The 2026 Luc Na Communal House Festival is organised in accordance with traditional festival rituals, comprising both ceremonial and festive activities. The ceremonial section includes rituals such as the procession of the tutelary deity’s tablet and sacrificial rites. The festive section features a variety of activities, including the Luc Na Communal House Cup football tournament, a Cultural Performance Night, exchanges in traditional sports and folk games, and booths introducing local OCOP products…
Held annually, the Luc Na Communal House Festival aims to preserve the cultural heritage of local ethnic communities while meeting people’s cultural needs and enriching their spiritual life. The event also provides an opportunity for Luc Hon Commune to further introduce and promote the locality’s land, culture and people to visitors from near and far.
