According to the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Adora Cruises of China scheduled to bring the country’s largest international cruise ship to Ha Long International Cruise Port this August, carrying more than 5,000 passengers.
The event is considered an important milestone, marking the start of the 2026–2027 cruise tourism season. It also reflects positive outcomes of the province’s tourism promotion programme in China held from April 11 to 14. In addition to welcoming inbound tourism, Quang Ninh aims to position itself as a strategic transit hub for Vietnamese tourists seeking to explore international destinations by cruise. In 2026, the province is expected to receive more than 90 international cruise ships.
