Quang Ninh Province has identified the development of high-quality tourism targeting the premium market segment as one of its breakthrough solutions to turn tourism into a spearhead economic sector.
A key pillars of this strategy is the development of golf tourism. By 2050, Quang Ninh aims to complete a system of 22 golf courses across the province to meet demand for high-end leisure activities, attract major tournaments and draw high-spending visitors.
Capitalising on the advantages of Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO-recognised World Natural Heritage Site, Quang Ninh has also accelerated the development of luxury cruise services for sightseeing and overnight stays on the bay. These cruise vessels, with investment levels of hundreds of billions of VND, not only provide premium hospitalityamenities but also offer experiences that reflect local cultural identity.
Steady growth in tourist arrivals and tourism revenue in recent years reflects progress not only in scale but also in service quality. Through the gradual development of a comprehensive high-end tourism ecosystem, Quang Ninh is undergoing a strong transformation.
